LONDON | Hilton Group's (HG.L: Quote, Profile, Research) chief executive does not plan to quit, the company said on Sunday, denying a report that said David Michels would leave after completing the sale of its hotels.
"He absolutely has no plans to do such a thing," a Hilton spokesman said.
Hilton said in October that it was in talks to sell its hotels to the U.S. based Hilton Hotels (HLT.N: Quote, Profile, Research) -- a deal which could be worth 3.6 billion pounds.
The Sunday Times said Michels would leave once the sale was completed.
