Geoff McClelland joined the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in mid 2003 having worked as a consultant to MOHG and other Jardine Matheson companies for several years. Geoff has over 25 years experience in Information Technology and Telecommunications (IT&T), having held senior roles or consulting extensively in a number of industry sectors; notably Telecommunications, Petroleum, IT, Finance, Defence and Retail. Always having a strong technology focus, Geoff has held IT&T staff, research and development, strategic marketing and corporate planning positions. At Mandarin Oriental he has responsibility for Technology deployment in new hotel builds and major renovations throughout Asia and was also intimately involved in the openings in New York and Washington. Geoff is an Australian and lives in Hong Kong. He holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with a Finance Major from the University of Technology Sydney and is a Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), the Australian Computer Society (ACS) and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
