“I’m especially proud of this year’s event, not only for its record-breaking attendance, but for the immediate $10 million economic impact on Montréal,” said Bruce MacMillan, CA, president and CEO of MPI. “Delivering increased value to our members, our stellar educational program and expanded trade show elevated the knowledge and learning offerings and marketplace opportunities. Plus, our integration of corporate social responsibility into the organization’s DNA had the perfect launch pad in environmentally-friendly Montréal, where our board unanimously agreed to sign the UN Global Compact on CSR.”
MPI is planning a host of new “alternative” educational concepts and marketplaces for its 2008 Professional Education Conference-North America, scheduled Feb. 2-5 in the cosmopolitan city of Houston. Visit
