Black-tie Optional President’s Evening at the 2007 Annual Convention & Tradeshow to Celebrate New HFTP Board of Directors

AUSTIN, TEXAS, USA | Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®) will be honoring its incoming and outgoing International Presidents at a special black tie event on Friday, October 19 from 6:30 p.m. to midnight. The President's Evening Dinner and Dance will be the culmination of the HFTP Annual Convention & Tradeshow which runs October 17–20 at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront in Jacksonville, Fla.

The President's Evening Dinner and Dance will be the culmination of the HFTP Annual Convention & Tradeshow which runs October 17–20 at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront in Jacksonville, Fla. Part of the evening’s program will be a ceremony where the association will induct its 2007-2008 board of directors.

“The President’s Evening is a right of passage as the outgoing president hands over the position to the incoming president,” said Frank Wolfe, CAE, CEO of HFTP. “It is also a time to celebrate HFTP’s successes from the past year and is a jumpstart to the new year to come.”

The exciting evening will feature an elegant dinner, installation of the 2007-2008 board of directors and live music. The guests of honor will be Agnes DeFranco, Ed.D, CHAE, professor at the University of Houston and 2006-2007 HFTP international president; and Anna McFarland, CPA, CFE, CHAE, CHTP, senior director of finance for Accor North America Business and Leisure Hotels and 2007-2008 HFTP international president. Attendees will dance the night away to live music from the popular show band, Shimmer. Those wishing to attend the event must exchange their ticket voucher for an actual ticket at the HFTP registration desk by 10 a.m. on Friday, October 19.
