Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels Arranges the Sale of Three Major Hotels for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Inc

Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels is pleased to announce that it arranged the sale of The Fairmont Acapulco Princess, The Fairmont Pierre Marques and The Fairmont Hamilton Princess between Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Inc. and Goodman Hospitality Investments (“Goodman”). These three iconic properties represent a significant investment in the resort segment for Goodman, a private real estate investment company.

The Fairmont Acapulco Princess and The Fairmont Pierre Marques are luxury, full-service resorts located on 480 acres of land along 4,800 feet of beach in Acapulco’s exclusive Diamante neighborhood. The hotels are part of a planned community that includes two 18-hole golf courses, 91,500 square feet of meeting space, 15 food & beverage venues, four free-form swimming pools, a salt-water lagoon, a 14,000 square foot Willow Stream Spa, a 16-court championship tennis center and Fairmont Heritage Place, Fairmont’s private residence club offering.

The Fairmont Hamilton Princess is located on the shores of the Hamilton Harbor and adjacent to Bermuda’s financial and banking center. The luxury property offers 410 guestrooms, approximately 19,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, three renowned food and beverage outlets, and full access to all of the guest amenities at The Fairmont Southampton.

“With the continued capital improvements expected for the three hotels, Goodman will ensure these world-class assets remain the preeminent hotels in their markets and will form a great foundation for the continued strategy to further develop the properties’ real estate component,” said Gregory Rumpel, executive vice president, Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels.
