Today Rezidor opens two new hotels – Radisson SAS Waterfront Hotel, Jersey and Park Inn Sheffield, UK

The Rezidor Hotel Group today opens two properties: The Radisson SAS Waterfront Hotel in Jersey, Channel Islands and Park Inn Sheffield in England, UK. These two new hotels add 306 guest rooms – between 2007 and 2009, Rezidor will open 20,000 new rooms in total.

Radisson SAS Waterfront Hotel, Jersey is a stylish new property in the capital, St. Helier. The hotel’s location is stunning with the marina and the historic Elizabeth Castle directly in front, the picturesque bay to the east and the centre of St. Helier with its bustling financial district and exciting shopping scene just five minutes walk away.

The new-build hotel offers 195 guest rooms, five elegant meeting rooms – catering for over 400 theatre style and up to 280 banqueting – Brasserie de Verres en Vers, a modern interpretation of the French brasserie, and a bar with seating directly overlooking the marina. Other amenities include 386m2 of state-of-the-art health facilities including fitness centre, sauna, swimming pool, steam room, jacuzzi and treatment rooms, plus free high-speed internet access throughout the hotel for all residential guests, as is offered as standard in all Radisson SAS hotels.

For the last few years Jersey has been re-emerging as a leading short break and conference destination, with several multi-million pound investments and now the new Radisson SAS underlining these credentials.

Park Inn Sheffield is the 15th Park Inn hotel in the UK and its second hotel in Yorkshire. Ideal for both business and leisure travellers, the hotel is located in the Quay-side quarter of the city, just a few minutes walk from the centre. Previously known as the Hotel Bristol, the property has 111 spacious guest rooms designed in a sleek, modern style. All rooms come with standard amenities including high-speed internet access and satellite TV channels.

As well as offering brasserie-style and a la Carte dining in its attractive Picasso restaurant, Park Inn Sheffield also provides two meeting rooms complete with the latest audio-visual equipment for business use.
