Shawn German Joins Loews Hotels At Universal Orlando As Regional Director Of Human Resources
Shawn German has joined Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando as the new Regional Director of Human Resources. An accomplished human resources executive, Mr. German brings more than 15 years experience in the hospitality industry. Based at the company’s central support facility in Orlando, he oversees all human resources operations for Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific Resort and Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando.
ORLANDO, FL -- Shawn German has joined Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando as the new Regional Director of Human Resources. An accomplished human resources executive, Mr. German brings more than 15 years experience in the hospitality industry. Based at the company’s central support facility in Orlando, he oversees all human resources operations for Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Loews Royal Pacific Resort and Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando.
Mr. German most recently held the position of Director at Human Resources at the Sea Island Company and previously worked for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide as an Area Director of Human Resources. He also worked for the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission focusing on employment discrimination issues, is a veteran and graduated from Geneva College with a B.S. in Human Resources Management.
As part of a joint venture with Universal Parks and Resorts and Seminole Hard Rock Entertainment, Loews Hotels co-owns and manages three distinctively themed on-site hotels located at Universal Orlando Resort.
