Hilton Kansas City Receives AAA Four Diamond Rating

The Hilton President Kansas City has been awarded the AAA Four Diamond rating following an extensive review and evaluation by AAA inspectors. Criteria for the AAA Four Diamond ratings identifies hotel properties as “refined and stylish with upscale physical attributes.” Other criteria include “an extensive array of amenities, combined with a high degree of hospitality, service and attention to detail.”

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Hilton President Kansas City has been awarded the AAA Four Diamond rating following an extensive review and evaluation by AAA inspectors. Criteria for the AAA Four Diamond ratings identifies hotel properties as “refined and stylish with upscale physical attributes.” Other criteria include “an extensive array of amenities, combined with a high degree of hospitality, service and attention to detail.”

The Hilton President first opened in 1926 and quickly became a Kansas City landmark. It re-opened in January 2006 following an intricate $45 million restoration performed to exacting specifications to maintain its listing on the National Register of Historic Places. Today the hotel is an elegant landmark in the heart of the booming Kansas City renaissance. It is the only hotel in the Power & Light Entertainment District, and is steps away from Sprint Center, Midland Theater and AMC movie complex.
