The 17th Annual iHITA Research Conference

The 17th Annual iHITA Research Conference
The International Hospitality Information Technology Association (iHITA) traces its roots back to an organization that was founded on January 26, 1992 by a group of hospitality educators, industry practitioners and Information Technology vendors. The iHITA annual conference is organized to bring together academic researchers, educators, Information Technology vendors, and policy makers from the global hospitality industry. The conference engages academic and public issues related to the hospitality industry.
In addition to refereed research study presentations, the conference offers educational seminars and roundtable discussions for hospitality educators and professionals. This year the conference program will include a seminar style software demo session by the Rainmaker Group.
Paper Submission
Research studies on a wide range of hospitality technology topics will be considered for presentation at the conference. All submissions will undergo a double blind review process. Submissions may include completed research studies or research in progress. Submission can be made as full papers or extended abstracts. Full papers judged to have outstanding merit by the conference paper review committee will be considered for publication in the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Technology (JHTT) and will be considered for the iHITA Best Paper Award.

iHITA Best Paper Award: Completed studies will be considered for the best paper award through an external committee blind review process. The winner will receive a cash prize, sponsored by Host Hotels & Resorts as well as an award certificate along with a complimentary subscription to JHTT (sponsored by the Journal of Hospitality and Tourism Technology).
