The third annual Hotel Data Conference, hosted by STR and HotelNewsNow.com and presented by Gaylord Hotels, will be held 3-4 August 2011 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
The conference is a unique opportunity to gain valuable insight about the current environment and the performance outlook for the hotel industry.
“After being displaced by the flooding in Nashville last year, we are thrilled to have our third annual Hotel Data Conference at Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center,” said Mark Lomanno, president of STR. “We are looking forward to building upon the success of the first two conferences by offering enhanced data presentations and discussions focused on what hoteliers need to know in the operations, revenue management and transactional disciplines. We are delighted to welcome back so many returning sponsors and expect attendance to grow accordingly as the conference becomes a must-attend event for anyone interested in hotel data.”
Last year’s conference attracted 250 attendees who heard various topics including: U.S. hotel industry overview of historical performance and industry forecasts; travel trends affecting the hotel industry; consumer business and leisure traveler intentions; achieving revenue management goals; how to interpret and act on information on STR reports; top U.S. market performance and pipeline trends; and global hotel performance trends.
The registration fee is $695, but there is an early-bird rate of $545 available until 30 April 2011. Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center will be offering attendees a special room rate of $155 per night, gratuity and tax not included. For more information visit
