W. Laird Hamberlin Named as New President of Onity®

ATLANTA | Onity announced today the appointment of W. Laird Hamberlin to the position of President. Onity, one of the world's leading providers of electronic locking solutions, is part of UTC Fire & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX). Laird will be based at the Onity world headquarters in Duluth, GA.

Prior to joining Onity, Laird served as Vice President, Global Accounts for Tyco Fire & Security, a worldwide provider of fire and security products and services. Over the last nine years at Tyco he has held positions in sales, operations, business development and general management.

Laird holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Delta State University and is certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
