Hilton Worldwide Signs Two Management Agreements with China’s Zhejiang Jiacheng Holding Group

Hilton Worldwide today announced the signing of two management agreements with Zhejiang Jiacheng Holding Group. The agreements will see the introduction of Hilton Worldwide's first Hilton Garden Inn in China, and the first DoubleTree by Hilton deal signed for Shaoxing County. Hilton Garden Inn Shaoxing located in Shaoxing, a prefecture-level city in northeastern Zhejiang Province, is expected to be open by the end of 2011. DoubleTree by Hilton, Shaoxing County is scheduled to open by the end 2013. Shaoxing County is along the Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo economic belt of the Yangtze River Delta. It is under the administration of the prefecture-level city of Shaoxing.

Zhejiang Jiacheng Holding Group was founded in 1999. Its core business is real estate development, while its other businesses include hotel management, investment consultancy, advertisement and interior decoration.

Hilton Garden Inn Shaoxing

The conversion project is an existing four-storey building. The hotel is located at the north gate of Shaoxing's heritage town center, Jiacheng Square on North Jiefang Avenue, within Yuecheng District.

Once completed, Hilton Garden Inn Shaoxing will offer 137 guest rooms, a stylish lobby lounge and an all-day dining restaurant capable of accommodating 120 diners. Leisure facilities at the hotel will include an outdoor swimming pool, and a fully-equipped, state-of-the-art health club. There will also be meeting rooms each measuring 289 square meters. The hotel will also offer on-site car parking facilities for the convenience of its guests.

Shaoxing is one of the most economically vibrant and affluent cities in the southeast coastal area of China. Its key industries; textile manufacturing and pearl export have contributed to the large volume of frequent business travelers who look for good quality value accommodation.

DoubleTree by Hilton, Shaoxing County

The hotel will be part of a mixed-used development which includes high-end residences and a shopping mall. Currently under construction, the seven-storey property will be located at the intersection of Qunxian Road and Huxi Road in Kecheng District, a new urban area within the Keqiao Economic Development Zone.

When it opens, DoubleTree by Hilton, Shaoxing County will have 296 modern guest rooms. Guests will be able to dine at any of the three restaurants, hold a casual meeting at the lobby lounge, or enjoy a leisurely drink at the bar.

DoubleTree by Hilton, Shaoxing County will also be equipped with a business centre, a ballroom measuring 1,125 square meters, and seven rooms designed for social functions or corporate meetings. Guests will also be able to recharge or relax at their convenience during their stay; there will be a fully-equipped fitness club, a specially-designed spa, and indoor pool.

Shaoxing County is 285 kilometers away Shanghai. China's largest textile trading hub, it is host to numerous textile related exhibitions and conventions. It is also home to China's rich cultural heritage and the hometown to many of its famous people including the ex-Prime Minister Zhou En Lai.
