Hilton Garden Inn Flies Into Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport

New Signing Will Be Hilton Worldwide’s 30th Turkish Hotel that Is Either Currently Operating or in the Pipeline

Having recently announced four new hotel deals in Turkey, Hilton Worldwide today confirmed another signing: the Hilton Garden Inn Istanbul Airport, located just four kilometres from Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport (IST). Expected to open in late 2013, the hotel will join Hilton Worldwide’s development pipeline, bolstering the portfolio with its strategic location at one of the country’s busiest airports.

ISTANBUL, Turkey -- Having recently announced four new hotel deals in Turkey, Hilton Worldwide today confirmed another signing: the Hilton Garden Inn Istanbul Airport, located just four kilometres from Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport (IST). Expected to open in late 2013, the hotel will join Hilton Worldwide’s development pipeline, bolstering the portfolio with its strategic location at one of the country’s busiest airports.

Located next to the Ataturk Boulevard, just a few minutes drive from the main terminal buildings, Hilton Garden Inn Istanbul Airport will provide guests with a mid-market solution on the doorstep of the airport, and within easy reach of the historic centre of Istanbul. Ataturk Airport is a major domestic and international hub with flight connections across Europe, the Americas, Middle East, Africa and Asia. The new build hotel will be part of a mixed use office and residential development, offering 227 bedrooms alongside significant meetings and events space.

Hilton Garden Inn Istanbul Airport will join the portfolio following the signing of a management agreement with Saray Dokum ve Madeni Aksam Sanayi Turizm A.Ş. The hotel will provide the Hilton Garden Inn brand’s key signature offerings which include the Garden Sleep System™ bed and ergonomic Mirra® chair by Herman Miller – ideal for travellers looking for a good night’s sleep and comfortable stay. There will also be a 24-hour business centre and complimentary high speed Wi-Fi internet access throughout, as well as a fitness centre, indoor swimming pool, steam room and sauna.

For business and social events, an impressive meeting space will be approximately 770 square metres in size and provide a large event room, pre-function area and four additional meeting rooms. The hotel will include an all-day dining restaurant and lobby bar as well as the brand’s signature 24-hour Pavilion Pantry for light snacks and refreshments.
