Eric A. Danziger, president and CEO of Wyndham Hotel Group, has been honored at the Annual UJA-Federation of New York's Hotel and Hospitality Division Cocktail Reception for his commitment to philanthropy.
Danziger, who is responsible for the operation, growth, performance and strategic direction of Wyndham Hotel Group, the world's largest hotel company, with approximately 7,190 hotels in 66 countries, has been an avid supporter of programs for children with autism.
"It is a privilege to honor Mr. Danziger because he cares so deeply about the work of UJA-Federation, specifically our work around the issues of autism and child development," said Beth Rosenthal, associate director of Real Estate and Allied Trades at UJA-Federation of New York. "During a moving visit to the Jewish Board of Family and Children Service's Child Development Center, a beneficiary agency of UJA-Federation, he observed cutting edge programs for children with special needs and their families."
About 300 people gathered to honor Danziger and raise approximately $300,000 for UJA-Federation to help support more than 100 health, human-service, educational, and community-building agencies in New York and around the world.
