"Looking over the last year, the industry seemed to escape the drag of the recession," said Clough. "HVS's hundreds of recent hotel analyses, interviews, and field assignments have a lot to tell about the trajectory of things going forward. We've distilled this information in order to share insights with hotel stakeholders. We will begin our Summits in Denver and move through every concentration of regional hotel activity nationwide. Using these insights, hoteliers can begin to assess where their hotel stands in today's and tomorrow's market."
The panel will examine the current availability, challenges, and stipulations of hotel financing, including the essential facts and decision points that lenders use to evaluate loan applications and what hotel owners need to know to effectively position their hotels.
The event will begin with a 7:30 a.m. breakfast reception, followed by a presentation and panel discussion from 8-10 a.m., and concluding with networking opportunities from 10-11 a.m. There is no cost for registration. HVS hotel consulting and appraisal associates will offer giveaways via an exhibition booth at each Summit.
