RobertDouglas Adds Senior Hotel Investment Banker to New York Team

New York – May 13, 2013 – The lodging industry investment banking firm RobertDouglas is pleased to announce that it has added Evan Hurd, a senior investment professional, as a Director in its New York office. Mr. Hurd will play a key role in originating, underwriting and executing hotel, resort and leisure property transactions from coast to coast.

Mr. Hurd was most recently an Assistant Vice President at Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers, where he focused on sourcing, underwriting and closing hotel real estate transactions. While at Cornerstone, he was involved in over $750 million of hotel acquisitions on behalf of a number of institutional clients. Prior to joining Cornerstone, Hurd spent four years as Director of Acquisitions for HEI Hotels & Resorts and was directly involved in the acquisition of over $400 million of hotels. He also spent two years in San Francisco with HVS International, a leading hospitality consulting and appraisal firm, where he was involved in the valuation of over $2 billion in hotel assets.
