Institut Paul Bocuse and Emlyon Business School announce joint MSc in International Hospitality Management
Top business schoolEMLYON has partnered with the INSTITUT PAUL BOCUSE, one of the world's leading schools for hotel management and gastronomy, to develop a specialist Masters in International Hospitality Management commencing this August.
With the hospitality industry booming worldwide, the new programme is designed to meet the growing shortfall in specialist professional management.
"Companies need managers who not only understand the diverse expectations of their customers across global markets, but can also master the complexity and unique structure of hospitality-based business models. This new Master in International Hospitality Management truly combines the best of two worlds, and features a strong emphasis on innovation and entrepreneurship." says Bruno Bonnell, EMLYON's President.
Students will have the opportunity to learn at two of the world's leading institutions in the fields of management and hospitality. Over the course of 16 months students will take part in workshops, company visits and an in-company project, both in France and in Shanghai, China, as well as undertake a four month internship anywhere in the world.
Delivered exclusively in English, the programme will also expose students to internationally renowned designers, celebrity chefs and other leaders of the profession.
"The Asia-Pacific region is renowned in the world of hospitality for its devotion to etiquette and quality customer experience, while French culinary arts are highly regarded world-wide and Lyon is recognised as the capital of French gastronomy and a centre of innovation. Classes at both the INSTITUT PAULBOCUSE and EMLYON campuses will provide students with an essential foundation in general management, as well as specialised knowledge in new venture creation, lifestyle hospitality management, brand design and innovation management." says Hervé Fleury, CEO of INSTITUT PAULBOCUSE.
