Legendary Industry Veteran Eric A. Danziger Joins Hampshire Hotels Management as President and Chief Executive Officer
Hotel Visionary to Lead Next Phase Growth Strategy for New York Based Hotel Group
Hampshire Hotels Management, LLC, today announced that effectiveApril 7, 2014, Eric A. Danziger has been named President and ChiefExecutive Officer of the privately held group. Sant Singh Chatwalwill remain Chairman of the Company.

Danziger, who has more than 40 years of experience in the hotelbusiness, began his career as a bellman at The Fairmont SanFrancisco. Following a meteoric rise in hotel operations, Danzigerassumed his first executive role with Doubletree Hotels in 1984 andhas since been instrumental in the growth of Wyndham Internationalwhere he served as President, Starwood Hotels and Resorts asPresident and CEO, Carlson Hotels Worldwide as President and COO, andWyndham Hotel Group as President and CEO.
Most recently as President and CEO of Wyndham Hotel Group, Danzigerled a global development effort, greatly expanding the footprint ofthe Company's 14 brands into new countries. He was also directlyresponsible for having the vision to leverage the strength of andsynergies across all of the Company's 14 brands.
Danziger has been the recipient of numerous Industry awards andhonors including the Northern California Ernst and Young Entrepreneurof the Year in real estate, hospitality and construction. In 2011, hewas the UJA Federation Honoree and in 2012, he received the covetedArthur Landstreet award from HSMAI. Danziger has been a member of theprestigious Industry Real Estate Financing Council and the Urban LandInstitute and has also served as Chairman of the American Hotel &Lodging Strategic Planning Group. He has been active with majoruniversities, being featured as a distinguished lecturer at Cornell,in addition to his role as visiting professor at Johnson and WalesUniversity, where he holds an honorary doctorate.
As a Member in Hampshire Hotels Management, Danziger will assume therole as President and Chief Executive Officer of Hampshire HotelsManagement, where his focus will be on growing the group's thirdparty management and asset management portfolios, in addition toexpanding the firm's proprietary Dream and Night lifestyle brands.

Danziger begins his new role April 7.
