The company reports a 48% growth in total brand conversions from hotel franchisors such as Wyndham, Choice and Best Western. Midscale price segment hotels increased 52%, upper midscale 33% and economy hotels 38%.
Weighted average room rates increased 10% for year end 2014/2013 with detail as follows:
- Upper midscale 14%
- Midscale 6%
- Economy 7%
Founded February 3 2003, Magnuson Hotels has added more new hotels in the last 10 years than 8 of the top 10 chains combined by offering a low cost alternative to traditional hotel franchising.
