Barcelona -- Eurostars Hotel Company, the hotel division of the Spanish company Grupo Hotusa, has further consolidated its noteworthy presence in Andalusia (Spain) by purchasing two new boutique hotels, one in Granada and one in Seville that are now fleshing out the portfolio of the Eurostars Hotels chain of unique hotels. The company currently operates 19 establishments in Andalusia, awaiting the upcoming openings of Eurostars Washington Irving 5* in Granada in mid spring 2016 and Torre Sevilla hotel, in 2017.

These two boutique establishments stand out for their carefully chosen decoration and strategic location in the centre of each city. President of Grupo Hotusa Amancio López Seijas says these latest incorporations "are part of our strategy to combine expansion abroad with a consolidated presence here in Spain. In this regard," he adds, "Andalusia is a destination where we hope to continue growing and we always have our eye out for opportunities that may arise in the main cities there."

Eurostars Gran Vía 5* will be the company's third establishment in Granada proper. It is a unique hotel with 39 rooms in a 19th century Renaissance-style building that is exceptionally located in the historical city centre of Granada. In addition to its modern, stylish rooms, the hotel also has a select restaurant, several events halls with space for up to 90 guests and a spa area.

The company's fifth hotel in Seville, Eurostars Sevilla Boutique 4*, is a 40-room establishment in the heart of the old city, just steps from the Cathedral of Seville. The hotel combines the tradition of a Morisco building with modern facilities, including a restaurant featuring traditional cuisine, meeting rooms, a pool with views of the Cathedral and a fully equipped spa.

In Andalusia, Eurostars Hotel Company also has six hotels in Cordoba, the most emblematic of which is Eurostars Palace 5*; three hotels in Malaga, especially noteworthy among which is
Eurostars Mijas 4*; one in Huelva (Eurostars Tartessos 4*) and another in Jérez de la Frontera (Exe Guadalete 4*).

One of the company's most ambitious projects is Eurostars Washington Irving 5*, a five-star establishment in Granada that will be based on the work of the American romantic writer and his ties to the city, basically through his 'Tales of the Alhambra'.
