HSMAI’s Washington DC Chapter to Host Second Sales Academy

Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International's Washington DC Chapter will host the year's second sales academy, Managing the Corporate RFP Process, May 19 in Arlington, Virginia.
This Sales Academy will feature top-level presentations, a panel discussion and interactive table conversations designed to help sales and marketing professionals recognize market conditions and trends, determine competitors' positioning and write a compelling business case.
Panelists will include Kimberly Anderson-Felga, Hersha Hospitality Management area director of business travel sales; Dee-Dee Gray Weaver, Choice Hotels International senior director of inside sales and client services; Beth Bogart, Marriott International director of sales, core full service; Matt Neff, TravelClick regional vice president of sales; and Michelle Matthews, Interstate Hotels & Resorts account manager, global sales, Washington DC metro area.
"Corporate RFP season is fast approaching, so now is the time to assess those factors that will impact a hotel's sales position and strategy," said Fran Brasseux, HSMAI executive vice president. "This event will cover Washington-area market trends and forecasts, corporate negotiation and booking window trends, reports and tools for understanding competitive set business, incorporating corporate business into an overall hotel strategy and how to own the process."
The Sales Academy will be held May 19 from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Arlington at Washington's Key Bridge, 1325 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, followed by a networking reception from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. Registration will begin at 4 p.m.
