More than 75 volunteers to help renovate Germantown branch on May 23

To kick off the partnership,Choice Hotels volunteers, including several members of senior leadership, will renovate the Germantown Branch of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington on Monday, May 23rd.

The volunteer event will kick off at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 23, with remarks from Choice Hotels' President and CEO, and former Boys & Girls Club member, Steve Joyce. Following his remarks, approximately 75 Choice Hotels volunteers from its Rockville, Maryland corporate headquarters, along with members from the local Boys & Girls Club, will participate in renovation activities including landscaping, installing new furniture and painting.
The Germantown branch serves an average of 115 kids and teens ages 5-18 daily, teaching important life lessons including healthy lifestyles, academic success, good character and career development. With more than 4,100 Boys & Girls Clubs across the country, Choice and its franchisees are setting forth to help enrich the lives of children who need it the most.
