For the sixth consecutive year, around 20 high-potential team members from Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Germany were recognized for their efforts and achievements from CEO Frank Fiskers.
For roughly one year, around 20 Scandic managers attended Talent@Scandic, a prestigious leadership program focused on business development and leadership. The program has run for six years, and many of Scandic's current leaders have passed Talent@Scandic.
At the ceremony, the participants presented their projects, which had a clear connection to Scandic's operations and strengths.
- It is incredibly inspiring to learn about the project work carried out by these talented team members over the year. It is with great pleasure and pride that I look forward to following the continued development of this year's participant's within the Group, says Frank Fiskers, President & CEO of Scandic Hotels Group.
Since its inception in 1995, Scandic's internal academy, Scandic Business School, has offered skills development to several thousand employees. One of the courses is Talent@Scandic which was devised with the intention to identify and develop highly achieving team members for future roles as General Managers or other leadership positions within the Group.
