Forbes’ recognizes Marriott’s SpringHill Suites and TownePlace Suites brands as two of “America’s Best Franchises”
Two of Marriott International, Inc.'s fastest growing brands have been recognized by Forbes as "America's Best Franchises to Buy in 2016". Landing in the top 10 of a selection of more than 3,300 active franchise brands, SpringHill Suites and TownePlace Suites are also the two highest ranking hotel and lodging brands in Forbes' "high investment level".
Bethesda, Maryland -- Two of Marriott International, Inc.'s fastest growing brands have been recognized by Forbes as "America's Best Franchises to Buy in 2016". Landing in the top 10 of a selection of more than 3,300 active franchise brands, SpringHill Suites and TownePlace Suites are also the two highest ranking hotel and lodging brands in Forbes' "high investment level". This year's list is the third annual ranking of best and worst franchises in America. To determine an accurate ranking, Forbes Media uses FRANdata on system sustainability, system demand, franchisor support, franchisor stability and value for investment to analyze five-year growth rates and five-year continuity rates, a measure of how often an individual franchise has changed hands, among other factors, to make its determination.
