Tokyo -- On July 1st, leading Japanese hotelier Fujita Kanko Inc. opens Hotel Gracery Kyoto Sanjo North, a moderately-priced new hotel in Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan and a highly popular tourist destination.
Centrally located in the Teramachi Kyogoku shopping arcade, a covered historical street lined with long-established family stores, the newly-built 97-room hotel provides an ideal base for visitors exploring Kyoto with easy access to numerous historical monuments and tourist attractions. The hotel is located a few subway stops away from Kyoto JR station, the main entry point for Kyoto, or fifteen minutes by taxi.
The hotel emphasizes concierge service with designated well-trained staff who can provide local information and assistance with various activities for international visitors. Spacious guest rooms all have separate toilets/bathrooms for additional comfort and the hotel's restaurant serves breakfast using local ingredients.

In May 2017, Fujita Kanko will also open Hotel Gracery Kyoto Sanjo South in an adjacent property with an additional 128 rooms, bringing the total number of rooms at the location to 225. The two hotels are constructed in adjacent lots, strategically complementing each other. All 97 rooms of Hotel Gracery Kyoto North are double rooms while Hotel Gracery Kyoto South's 128 rooms will all be twin rooms so that guests can choose the hotel that suits their needs.
