Gala to take Place November 17 at Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale
The Hospitality and Tourism Management Program at Florida Atlantic University is proud to announce that the 2017 Dr. Peter Ricci Honorary Scholarship Award will be presented at the HSMAI South Florida Hospitality Awards Gala. The event takes place at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale on the evening of November 17, 2016.
The Hospitality and Tourism Management Program at Florida Atlantic University is proud to announce that the 2017 Dr. Peter Ricci Honorary Scholarship Award will be presented at the HSMAI South Florida Hospitality Awards Gala. The event takes place at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale on the evening of November 17, 2016.
The Scholarship was named in honor of Dr. Ricci, Director of Florida Atlantic University's Hospitality & Tourism Management Program in 2013, honoring his years of personal commitment to the HSMAI South Florida Chapter and his dedication to educating future generations of hospitality professionals.
The Dr. Peter Ricci Honorary Scholarship Award is presented to students enrolled in either undergraduate or graduate hospitality degree program throughout any of the South Florida educational institutions, giving them an opportunity to receive financial assistance based on the merit of their application and personal achievements. Funds for the scholarship are raised through individual donations and through the HSMAI South Florida GALA hosted each fall which includes a silent auction component.
