Steigenberger Hotel Conti Hansa in Kiel to remain in the Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts portfolio for the long term
Steigenberger Hotels AG has made early arrangements to secure a long-term extension to the agreement for the Steigenberger Hotel Conti Hansa in Kiel. This means that the hotel will form part of the Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts portfolio until at least 2036. An extensive renovation programme has also been agreed with the building's owner Internos Global Investors.
Steigenberger Hotels AG has made early arrangements to secure a long-term extension to the agreement for the Steigenberger Hotel Conti Hansa in Kiel. This means that the hotel will form part of the Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts portfolio until at least 2036. An extensive renovation programme has also been agreed with the building's owner Internos Global Investors. Renovation works will bring the hotel up to the enhanced standards that now apply following the further development of Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts.
The Steigenberger Hotel Conti Hansa in Kiel has belonged to the Steigenberger portfolio since 1989. Its proximity to the Kiel Fjord creates an attractive destination for leisure and business travellers alike. Jürgen von Massow, Vice President of Steigenberger Business Hotels, added, "The Steigenberger Hotel Conti Hansa in Kiel has been part of our portfolio for almost three decades. We are therefore particularly pleased that the agreement will be extended for a further period of almost 20 years and that the hotel will soon feature a resplendent new look."
