It was on this premise that Sarasola opened the doors of the first Room Mate Hotel; today, 13 years and 22 new hotels later, the company launches its new "Room Mate Group - The Visionary Brand" corporate image.

The new Room Mate Group logo has been created using the silhouette of a horse, an animal that represents the founder's past as an Olympic equestrian. It is also an anim al that reflects the company's values: PASSION, STRENGTH, HONESTY, and AUTHENTICITY AND EMPATHY.

Under the "The Visionary Brand" motto the company remains committed to placing people (not customers) at the center of everything it does, which is the cornerstone of the company's work and the sole reason it continually strives to create new products and experiences.

"Just because others haven't done it doesn't mean it can't be done. Today we have hotels, apartments, and a consulting firm. But tomorrow, who knows, we could be launching rockets into space. Room Mate Hotels is having a remarkable expansion, where they are preparing to land in new cities such as: Rotterdam, San Sebastian, Paris, Rome, Gran Canaria, M allorca, Naples and Lisbon. On top of it's been Be Mate´s best year to date, the tourist accommodation business of the group. The company currently manages a total of 10,000 apartments, 600 of them exclusively, and recently opened its first complete apartment building in the heart of Madrid (Plaza de España).

In 2017, X-Perience was launched, the latest disruptive idea, a new model of revolutionary consulting that aims to help other hoteliers by sharing their know-how and success model with more than 10 years of experience. All implementing the most advanced technologies.
