Sala Ayutthaya Hosts New Art Exhibition Dedicated To King Bhumibol

sala Ayutthaya, the riverside boutique hotel overlooking Ayutthaya's ancient temples, has unveiled a new art exhibition dedicated to the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Rama IX, who reigned for 70 years and holds a special place in the hearts of all Thai people.

Created to coincide with Fathers Day in Thailand, which is celebrated on 5^th December, King Bhumibol's birthday, this new exhibition celebrates the life, legacy and accomplishments of the highly-revered king. It also highlights the deep relationship between sala Ayutthaya and the artistic community and provides a platform for local artists to showcase their work to the public.This latest exhibition focuses on the work of Worapol Nualla-ong, an award-winning young artist who graduated from Bangkok's Silpakorn University. His collection includes contemporary paintings and sculptures depicting King Bhumibol at various stages of his life.
