How Partnerships & Teamwork Have Powered Duetto Through 2021

When we rang in the New Year in January 2021 uncertainty clouded the hospitality industry. As we mark the end of the year with the Omicron variant making news headlines it is easy to think nothing has changed. Yet so much has.
We’ve partnered with many hotel industry associations, including ITH in Spain and the SETE Greek Tourism Confederation, and strengthened our ties with AHLA, HEDNA, and HSMAI. And we’ve expanded our technology partnerships with several new integrations.
These collaborations and many more have been instrumental in pushing us all ahead. Working together, problem-solving together, and innovating together means that we are all entering the New Year in stronger positions. It has been a year for teamwork and pulling together. We are thankful to everyone who has worked with us in 2021.
What will 2022 look like?
As we get ready to celebrate the year’s end, some familiar patterns to business are starting to emerge, helping us all to plan with more confidence for 2022. Yes, we understand and expect shorter booking windows. We know leisure is by far more stable than business travel. And we understand that guests need more flexibility in their booking conditions – plans change, constantly.
Our latest Pulse Report data shows us that despite the new Omicron variant consumer interest in travel experiences is not waning. We are seeing high volumes of availability and price shopping on brand.com websites for stay dates throughout 2022.

As we all get ready to embrace the New Year and whatever challenges and celebrations it may bring, I’d like to take a moment to thank Team Duetto for continuing to go above and beyond. The team here always exceeds my expectations. Their resilience, creativity, and ability to find and foster fun in the workplace (even the virtual workplace) are a constant source of inspiration to me.

And I’d like to give special thanks to our partners, our customers, and the hospitality industry at large, especially the people working on the front lines in our industry. Without these different groups, we are not able to do what we do.
We’ve learned a lot in 2021. Throughout it, the ability to adapt, change, and continually improve have been core values for all Duettos, much like the hospitality industry we serve.
2022 will undoubtedly bring its challenges, but as we enter our 10th Anniversary year, I am extremely confident in Team Duetto and our ability to continually deliver innovation to the industry we serve. And I continue to be very optimistic about the future of the hospitality industry.
