This comes on the back of the recent launches of its two latest hotels in the region – TRYP by Wyndham Tory Street Wellington and TRYP by Wyndham Pulteney Street Adelaide. These hotels are its 48th and 49th hotels respectively in the region, signifying the brand’s introduction in the wider South Pacific and the re-entry of the TRYP by Wyndham brand in Australia.

This property will be built on the site of the former Kings Head hotel, one of the oldest historic pubs in Australia which was established back in 1848. This property will offer both business and leisure guests convenience and modern comforts to meet their needs. The hotel is slated to open by end of 2024.

This property will offer its leisure guests easy access to the beautiful coastline, famed for its great reefs, diving trips and water sport experiences. This property is slated to open in end of 2023.

  • Wyndham Garden Wailoaloa Beach, Fiji

Wyndham Garden Wailoaloa Beach, Fiji is a 90 key property. Located along the beachfront of Wailoaloa’s coastline, this property is conveniently located via a 10-minute drive from Fiji’s main city, Nadi, and its famed resort enclave Denarau Island. With thoughtful guest rooms, cozy lounges and flexible meeting spaces, this property seeks to cater for leisure guests. As a testament to Wyndham’s strong partnership and high levels of trust with existing partners, this property will be managed by the existing operator of the successful Ramada Suites by Wyndham Wailoaloa and is slated to open by end of 2023.

Wyndham Garden Suites Lake Tekapo, New Zealand is located near Lake Tekapo, on the South Island of New Zealand. It provides its guests the idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of city life by offering unrivalled scenic sights of the lake and its natural beauty. This property will cater for leisure guests, offering them excellent service, best-in-class amenities, and peace of mind during their stay.

This property will be operated by another longstanding partner of Wyndham in Marsden Group and is testament to the strong partnership and high levels of trust Wyndham enjoys with its existing operators. It is slated to open by mid of 2024 and further emphasizes Wyndham’s focus to increase its footprint in New Zealand, both regionally and across major city markets.

Next Up - New Openings in 2023

In addition to the recently opened TRYP by Wyndham Tory Street, Wellington, and TRYP by Wyndham Pulteney Street Adelaide in Q1 of this year, Wyndham looks forward to further bolstering its strong presence through additional openings in the second half of 2023.

  • La Quinta by Wyndham Ellerslie, Auckland

La Quinta by Wyndham Ellerslie in Auckland will be the second La Quinta property to open in New Zealand following the successful launch of the brand through La Quinta by Wyndham Remarkables Park Queenstown back in 2021. The property delivers remarkable guest experiences and a wide array of thoughtful amenities such as appealing dining options and well-equipped rooms for leisure and business guests. The Auckland based hotel is on track to open in Q4 of this year and will be further supported early next year with the opening of La Quinta by Wyndham Parnell, Auckland just on the outskirts of the Auckland CBD. Both hotels are being developed by long standing partner Safari Group and will be operated by Safari Hotels.

  • Wyndham Wallaroo Shores Resort, South Australia

Wyndham Wallaroo Shores Resort, located on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia is also slated to open at the end of 2023. The property connects leisure guests with exquisitely designed lounge areas, elegantly detailed guest rooms, delectable dining options and spacious meeting spaces. This stunning location situated 2 hours’ drive from Adelaide will offer a remarkable escape from city life and with well-designed and furnished villa style accommodation, guests are sure to recharge and refresh whilst enjoying stunning coastal scenery.

Through these anticipated openings and strong ongoing growth, Wyndham expects to strengthen its operational presence with more than 50 operating hotels in Australasia by the end of 2023.
