Accor Launches a €400 million share buyback program
Engages the execution of its capital allocation plan presented during the Capital Market Day
Following the recent rating upgrade to Investment Grade by Standard & Poors and the successful refinancing of its €500 million perpetual hybrid bond issued on January 31st, 2019, Accor announces today the launch of a €400 million share buyback program, consistent with the commitment it made to return €3 billion to shareholders over the 2023-27 period.
Paris - Following the recent rating upgrade to Investment Grade by Standard & Poors and the successful refinancing of its €500 million perpetual hybrid bond issued on January 31st, 2019, Accor announces today the launch of a €400 million share buyback program, consistent with the commitment it made to return €3 billion to shareholders over the 2023-27 period.
The Group has entered into a share buyback agreement with an investment services provider to implement this program. The purchase period will start on October 11, 2023 and end on April 11, 2024. This price shall not exceed the maximum price of 70 euros set by the Combined Ordinary and Extraordinary Shareholders' Meeting of May 17, 2023. The acquired shares will be cancelled.
