Crawford Hoying Adds Fifteenth Hotel To Company Portfolio In Partnership With Operator, Shaner Hotel Group

Crawford Hoying has announced the acquisition of Courtyard by Marriott Hamilton in partnership with award-winning international hotel owner, operator and developer, Shaner Hotel Group (Shaner). This will be Crawford Hoying’s first hotel in Hamilton, Ohio and fifteenth hotel in the company’s portfolio.

Courtyard by Marriott Hamilton is located in downtown Hamilton at 1 Riverfront Plaza, near the vibrant Marcum Park and numerous dining, retail and entertainment establishments. The 120-key hotel consists of three event rooms and breakout rooms, offering more than 5,800 square feet of event space. In addition, hotel guests can enjoy a 24/7 fitness center and an indoor heated swimming pool.

The Courtyard by Marriott Hamilton is located in close proximity to Crawford Hoying’s recently announced 17-acre mixed-use development at the current Cohen Recycling site. The development is set to include multifamily, retail and office space, as well as an additional hotel with Shaner, allowing for leveraged management capabilities across both hotel properties.

The Courtyard by Marriott Hamilton marks a continued expansion of Crawford Hoying’s portfolio, following the acquisition of Homewood Suites Columbus OSU in September 2023. This represents the second hotel acquisition in collaboration with Shaner within the last five months, and adds to the impressive total of 15 hotels within our company's growing portfolio.
