Kempinski Hotels win prestigious awards at Global Hotel Alliance Awards in Brussels

GHA recognises top-performing hotels and brands across 13 categories, honouring their outstanding performance and long-term collaboration within the alliance

Global Hotel Alliance (GHA), the world’s largest alliance of independent hotel brands, with the award-winning loyalty programme GHA DISCOVERY, of which KEMPINSKI DISCOVERY is a part of, has announced the winners of its 2025 awards.

Brussels -- Global Hotel Alliance (GHA), the world’s largest alliance of independent hotel brands, with the award-winning loyalty programme GHA DISCOVERY, of which KEMPINSKI DISCOVERY is a part of, has announced the winners of its 2025 awards.

Hosted at the historic Solvay Library Brussels, the annual awards ceremony acknowledged more than 15 hotel brands and properties from the GHA portfolio, including those in Green Collection and Ultratravel Collection, while hotels demonstrating performance excellence related to the GHA DISCOVERY loyalty programme also received accolades.

Every awards category was hotly contested, with at least five nominations in each from GHA’s more than 850 hotels in over 100 countries, representing 45 brands, selected according to multiple criteria.

Kempinski Hotels won awards in the following categories including:

  • Kempinski Hotels won Best Hotel Brand Performance for the best brand performance delivery, engagement and collaboration in the last year
  • Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok won Hotel of the Year for being the outstanding leader in GHA DISCOVERY stays with the highest number of room-nights booked last year
  • The Apurva Kempinski Bali won the Green Collection – Special Contribution category for exceptional contribution to the awareness of the Green Collection and sustainability focused local offers and specific initiatives to support local communities and protect the environment

The GHA Awards Ceremony took place in conjunction with the alliance’s annual CEO meeting which this year was held in Belgium, hosted at the elegant Corinthia Brussels. The event was attended by CEOs and senior leaders of GHA hotel brands, including Barbara Muckermann, Group CEO, Kempinski Hotels.
