On 31st March 2026 Cycas Hospitality will merge with its parent company Vertiq Capital to become Vertiq Hospitality Partners. The announcement comes as the group continues to expand its European footprint, adding more than 400 rooms across the UK and France this year with further openings set to be announced in the next months.
We’re excited to announce Vertiq Hospitality Partners ("Vertiq”) following an internal merger as we set out to build a pan-European operating partner business in the hospitality investment space. The combined group brings together Vertiq Capital's investment and asset management expertise with Cycas’s operational strength and infrastructure, creating a powerful vehicle from which we can accelerate growth across Europe.
Erik Jacobs, CEO, Vertiq Hospitality Partners
Operating from offices in Amsterdam and London, the group manages a portfolio of more than 35 hotels and 6,000 keys in eight different countries, providing Vertiq with a strong local footprint across Europe. The portfolio includes hotels in the key gateway cities of London, Paris and Amsterdam, as well as regional locations and leisure destinations.
Properties include the 161-room Bankside Hotel, Autograph Collection on London’s South Bank and the 237-room 25Hours Hotel Paris Terminus Nord, located opposite the city’s primary international railway hub.
Vertiq is brand agnostic and has strong working relationships with all leading international hotel brands. Vertiq also has experience operating hotels independently by creating a hotel's own identity and concept. Vertiq's portfolio and experience covers a broad spectrum of hospitality, ranging from entry-level to luxury to limited service and extended stay.
At Vertiq we create partnerships with owners through a performance-driven operational approach that maximises asset value and delivers strong risk adjusted returns. We also pursue strategic joint ventures and co-investments, increasing our alignment with our investment partners. Bringing both teams and experiences together in one company allows us to draw on decades of experience across hotel operations, asset management and real estate investment, underpinned by a disciplined, data-driven approach to performance and value creation. We are confident that this merger will herald a new era of success. Erik Jacobs, CEO, Vertiq Hospitality Partners
All employees of Vertiq Capital and Cycas Hospitality will become part of Vertiq Hospitality Partners, ensuring continuity for employees, partners and guests.
