About the New Leaders on HFTP's Nomination Slate

Mike Blake, CPA, CHTP, brings more than 20 years of hospitality, IT and finance leadership to the HFTP board. Currently serving as vice president of IT at KemperSports, Mike has held some of the most prominent technology roles in the industry. He previously served as CEO of Hospitality Technology Next Generation (HTNG), CTO for the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA), CIO for Commune Hotels & Resorts, and CIO for Hyatt Hotels Corp. In 2020, Mike was inducted into the HFTP Hospitality Technology Hall of Fame. His additional credentials, CMA, CISA and CITP, demonstrate his commitment to industry expertise and standards. Mike's blend of finance and technology expertise will enhance the talent of the HFTP Global Board.

Based in Las Vegas, Nev., Scot Campbell, CHTP joins the board as Executive Committee Advisor, representing Integrated Resort Advisors. Scot is a visionary leader with a passion for driving the hospitality and entertainment business to new heights. As principal at Integrated Resort Advisors, he brings a wealth of experience in IT and business operations across the USA, Asia, the Middle East and Europe. His connection to HFTP runs deep. Scot is an HFTP Global past president, former board member of Hospitality Technology Next Generation (HTNG) and an inductee to the HFTP Hospitality Technology Hall of Fame. His strategic mindset and global perspective make him a natural fit for guiding HFTP's next chapter.

Sarah Ford, CCM, CHAE rounds out the HFTP Global Board with a strong background in hospitality finance and club management. Sarah serves as general manager and COO for The Army and Navy Club in Washington, D.C., a role she stepped into in January 2020. With over 15 years of leadership experience, she has held positions including GM, COO, CFO, director of finance and controller. She also holds the Certified Club Manager (CCM) and the CHAE. Sarah is a passionate advocate for HFTP and her finance expertise and club industry insight strengthens HFTP's voice across the broader hospitality landscape.

Mark Gage, MMBA, will join the board as vice president of information systems at Tanzerra Resorts, based in Scottsdale, Ariz. Recently promoted to his current role, Mark has spent his career overseeing IT projects at global resorts, inhospitality education and club management, including AI, managing CAPEX and OPEX planning, M&As, and building strong systems and teams. This experience brings a depth of hands-on operational know-how to the HFTP Global Board. Mark represents a newer generation of hospitality technology leaders — professionals who can manage both the strategic and practical sides of running modern hospitality systems.

Based in New York, Michael Goldrich is a globally recognized hospitality expert who wrote the highly popular book, Invisible: What to Do When AI Erases Your Business and the Marketing Mindset series. As founder and a chief advisor at Vivander Advisors, he has become a leading advocate, marketer and educator at the intersection of hospitality and AI. He also serves as a board member of the HSMAI Foundation, where he champions practical applications of generative AI to help hospitality professionals work smarter. Michael's forward-thinking approach to technology and marketing aligns perfectly with HFTP's growing focus on AI.

Ian Millar, CHTP steps into his new role as secretary of HFTP with a distinguished background in hospitality education and technology. Based in Lausanne, Switzerland, Ian is a senior lecturer at the renowned Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL), one of the world's most prestigious hospitality management schools. With decades of experience bridging the gap between academic research and industry practice, he is a respected voice in hospitality technology innovation across Europe and beyond. Ian's deep commitment to education and a connected global network, makes him a natural champion for HFTP's mission and a powerful force for advancing the association's goals in standards, education and international growth. In fact, his support for HFTP was recognized with an HFTP Paragon Award in 2020.

His research and teaching focus on digital innovation, hotel technology systems and the evolving role of AI in hospitality operations, give him a front-row seat to the trends shaping the next generation of industry professionals. He has presented at conferences across Europe, Asia and beyond, building a truly global network that aligns directly with HFTP's push for international growth. His CHTP certification signals a deep, practical understanding of hospitality technology standards—the very benchmarks HFTP works to define and uphold. Having Ian join the Global Executive Committee brings to the association's leadership a passionate educator, a globally connected thought leader and a tireless advocate for the kind of rigorous, future-focused learning that defines the association.
