Praemia REIM Acquires Holiday Inn Genoa City in Italy from ANAV Investment Group
French real estate investment manager Praemia REIM, through its Italian subsidiary Praemia REIM Italy SGR, has acquired the four-star, 139-room Holiday Inn Genoa City in Genoa, Italy, from global real estate investment company ANAV Investment Group. The hotel, which has been operated for many years by Italian operator Gruppo CHC (City Hotels Company) under a franchise with IHG, is situated by the city’s ferry and cruise terminals and includes a restaurant, bar and five meeting rooms. In January 2026, Praemia sold the three-star, 160-room B&B Hotel Prague City in the Czech Republic, as reported in this newsletter.
Atalante and Catinvest acquire Hotel Le Pic Blanc in France from Sata Group and Colony Capital
French owner-operator Atalante Hotels, together with French real estate investor Catinvest, has acquired the four-star, 92-room Hotel Le Pic Blanc in Huez, France, from local ski resort operator Sata Group and global investment firm Colony Capital. The hotel is situated at the foot of the Alpe d'Huez ski resort and includes a restaurant, bar, four meeting rooms and a spa. This acquisition brings Atalante’s portfolio to 32 hotels.
Meridia Capital sells B&B Hotel Madrid Vallecas Ensanche in Spain
Spanish private equity firm Meridia Capital has sold the two-star, 110-room B&B Hotel Madrid Vallecas Ensanche in Spain. The property is situated in Madrid’s southeastern Vallecas district and includes a breakfast restaurant. The hotel formed part of Meridia’s strategic partnership with B&B Hotels, under which the firm developed and owned a portfolio of budget hotels in Spain operated by B&B Hotels under long-term leases.
