Thynk Appoints Chief Sales Officer and Attracts Industry Leaders Across Hospitality and Venues
Thynk promotes Ilaria Marinoni to CSO and hires three senior commercial leaders to drive expansion across hospitality and venues markets in North America and Europe.
Brussels, Belgium – July 31, 2026 – Thynk – the commercial and operations platform for hotels and venues – is building on its ongoing growth in the hospitality industry and rapid expansion into the venues market, strengthening its commercial team as the company expands internationally. The company has promoted Ilaria Marinoni to Chief Sales Officer (CSO) and appointed three experienced commercial leaders to support the company's continued growth across both verticals.
Over the past six years, Ilaria has played a central role in Thynk’s commercial growth, helping define its sales strategy, build and support sales teams, and establish the processes and partnerships that support its growing customer base. In her new role as Chief Sales Officer (CSO), Ilaria will lead Thynk’s global commercial organisation, driving a unified sales strategy across regions while accelerating growth in both its hospitality and venues verticals.
"Helping customers transform their businesses requires people who understand their industries inside and out," said Pascal Petit, CEO of Thynk. " Over the past six years, Ilaria has been instrumental in building our commercial organisation from the ground up, shaping how we go to market, building lasting customer relationships and establishing the commercial foundations that have supported our international growth. She understands our customers, our people and our vision better than anyone, making her the natural choice to lead our global commercial organisation through our next phase of growth.”
As Thynk accelerates its expansion into the venues market, it has attracted two commercial leaders who have helped shape the modern venue technology industry, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the sector.
Fred Lazzerini joins as Head of Venues after more than 25 years working with convention centres and event venues worldwide. He worked at Momentus Technologies for more than 18 years before establishing an independent consultancy that advises venues and venue operators on modernizing their operations. In his new role at Thynk, he will lead the company’s strategic commercial growth in the venues industry.
Brad Nuccio joins as Vice President of Sales, Venues, bringing more than 30 years of experience spanning venue operations, live entertainment and venue technology. His career includes senior commercial leadership roles with Momentus Technologies, Live Nation, Ticketmaster, and Clear Channel, giving him a deep understanding of the challenges currently facing venue operators across North America. At Thynk, Brad’s focus will be on expanding the company’s visibility to leading venues and convention centres across the region.
While Thynk continues to accelerate its expansion into the venues market, the company is also strengthening its long-standing hospitality business by appointing an experienced commercial leader in the European market.
Nicola (Nicky) Rhone joins Thynk as Director of Business Development, bringing more than 20 years of hospitality industry experience spanning hotel operations, commercial strategy, distribution and enterprise SaaS. Having led complex commercial technology initiatives from both the hotel and technology provider perspectives, she will support Thynk’s continued growth in the region.
"Fred, Brad, Nicky and I each bring different experiences and perspectives, but we're united by the same commitment to helping our customers succeed," said Ilaria Marinoni, Chief Sales Officer at Thynk. "Together, we'll continue building strong customer partnerships while helping hospitality organisations and venues get the greatest possible value from Thynk."
