Chapitre Six is an independent, owner-led collection of individually designed boutique properties across Paris, the Riviera, Barbizon and Megève, with new openings planned in Courchevel (December 2026) and Cannes (Summer 2027). Founded by hotelier and entrepreneur Nicolas Saltiel, who has a talent for creating hotels with a sense of place. Each property is shaped by its neighbourhood and brought to life in collaboration with selected designers and architects, infusing it with its own unique character, bespoke aesthetic, and vibrant spirit.

Bus Palladium Hôtel Club

The latest Parisian addition to the collection is 1970s-inflected, brutalist-facaded Bus Palladium Hôtel Club, a legendary music venue that reopened under a new guise this year. Set in the Pigalle District, fabled nightclub Bus Palladium opened in 1965, with the ‘Bus’ in its name referring to the shuttle bus that used to bring partygoers from the suburbs to La Pigalle. In its original incarnation, the dancefloor famously welcomed icons from The Rolling Stones and David Bowie to Dalí and his black panther, as well as live performances by The Beatles, while Madonna and Charlie XCX are the most recent icons to take to the stage at the newly reopened club.

Under the vision of Nicolas Saltiel and Paris based architects Studio KO, the site has evolved into a 5-storey, 35-room boutique hotel with a subterranean club that still pulses with the spirit of its rock ‘n’ roll past. Architects Karl Fournier and Olivier Marty of Studio KO have infused the interiors with a glamorous brutalism, featuring raw concrete, exposed cork walls, hollywood style mirrors and powder pink carpets. Artistic director, Caroline de Maigret chose the hotel’s signature amber-wood noted scent and curated playlists for the OJAS speakers in each room, offering smooth sounds to match each guest's mood. This is complimented by clever design details, from light switches that resemble amplifiers to well-stocked in-room bars designed to encourage mixing cocktails. Among the highlights is The Dalí Suite, with its 70s modular leather sofa, a standalone, glass-encased marble bathroom and balcony which runs the length of the suite and opens up onto the glow of the venue’s signature red neon sign.

Guests are invited to savour a signature Palladium 65 cocktail in the atmospheric, low-lit bar, setting the stage for dinner in the restaurant’s sultry velvet booths encircling a lush, fern-filled terrarium. Inventive menus by chef Valentin Raffali spotlights exceptional local produce such as heirloom tomato with stracciatella and olive oil and barbecued sea brill with gratin Dauphinois. Alongside perfected French fries served on a silver pedestal dish, accompanied by a soundtrack of original vintage vinyls from the club’s collection. Concealed by a heavy velvet curtain, the evening continues at the reimagined two-storey club, a late-night hub, complete with Bus Palladium’s original shimmering disco ball.

Across Paris, the portfolio reveals a different side to the city. Each hotel is woven into the fabric of the city, from the bohemian allure of Montmartre’s Hôtel Monsieur Aristide with its leafy garden suites and eclectic interiors with fabrics sourced from Marché Saint-Pierre, to Hôtel Monsieur George, a stone’s throw from the Champs-Élysées, where the interiors designed by Anouska Hempe, feature geometric marble, foxed mirrors, and dark lacquers. Hôtel Hana, housed inside a classic Haussmann building, provides a tranquil, Japanese-inspired sanctuary near the Opéra Garnier, complete with a chic spa.

Beyond Paris, the collection extends to the sun-drenched Riviera with two iconic landmarks: the glamorous Hôtel La Ponche in Saint-Tropez, a once favourite of Brigitte Bardot; and Cap d’Antibes Beach Hôtel, reimagined by architect Bernard Dubois. Famous for its all-pink private beach club, the hotel’s design nods to both Palm Springs and the legendary villas of the Mediterranean.

Elsewhere in France, La Folie Barbizon Hôtel is an artistic retreat near the Fontainebleau Forest just an hour outside Paris, while the Hôtel Saint-Georges promises a modern alpine fairytale in Megève, recently redesigned by British artist and designer, Luke Edward Hall, known for his love of folklore and vibrant colours.

Looking ahead, Chapitre Six will continue its expansion with openings planned in Couchevel 1850, opening 18th December 2026 and Hôtel Cannes, set for Summer 2027.
