LAS VEGAS — UrVenue, a hospitality technology company that enables venues, hotels, and resorts to sell, operate, and distribute experience inventory, has been named the 2027 Global Gaming Business Gaming & Technology Award winner for Best Consumer Service Technology. UrVenue earned the top honor for its Venue Management Software and its ability to help gaming and hospitality operators transform premium spaces, amenities, and experiences into bookable inventory that guests can easily discover and reserve.
The award will be presented during Global Gaming Expo (G2E), taking place Sept. 28 through Oct. 1 at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas.
A key use case highlighted in UrVenue’s award submission was Golden Nugget Lake Charles, where the company’s technology is helping the resort enhance its sportsbook experience by enabling guests to reserve preferred seating while giving the property greater control over inventory and premium offerings.
Providing a seamless guest experience is a top priority for us, and this platform makes it easy for guests to reserve their preferred sportsbook seating. It also gives our team the flexibility to manage inventory effectively and enhance the value of our premium seating offerings.

Beyond the Bet: Monetizing the Gaming Resort Experience
The Golden Nugget Lake Charles deployment illustrates a much larger opportunity for gaming resorts. Restaurants, pools, lounges, entertainment venues, cabanas, dayclubs, nightclubs, and other premium experiences all contribute to the value of a resort stay. Yet much of that inventory has traditionally been difficult for guests to discover and reserve and equally difficult for operators to merchandise effectively.
For sportsbooks, that could mean transforming desirable seating into a premium hospitality product that can be reserved for a major game or sporting event. Across a resort, the same approach can be applied to cabanas, dining experiences, entertainment, activities, and other high-demand amenities.
Winning the GGB Gaming & Technology Award for Best Consumer Service Technology validates something we have believed for a long time: the guest experience extends far beyond the hotel room. Gaming resorts have an extraordinary amount of valuable experience inventory, but historically much of it has been difficult to merchandise and book. Golden Nugget Lake Charles is a great example of what happens when operators make that inventory accessible to guests while giving their teams the tools to manage it effectively. The result is a better guest experience and a stronger revenue opportunity.
Tracee Nalewak, Chief Growth Officer at UrVenue
UrVenue’s technology gives operators greater visibility and control over inventory, availability, capacity, and pricing while creating a simpler path for guests to reserve the experiences they want.
Technology That Connects Experience and Revenue
The GGB Gaming & Technology Awards recognize innovation across land-based gaming, iGaming, sports betting, operations, and customer experience. Winners were selected by an independent panel of experienced gaming industry executives and experts.
“The most exciting part of this recognition is that it is tied to a real-world application,” Nalewak said. “This isn’t technology for technology’s sake. It is about giving guests more control over their experience and helping operators unlock the value of everything their properties have to offer.”
