Coury Hospitality Expands National Portfolio With Management Appointments at THE RIVVY and Marriott Tacoma Downtown

DALLAS, TX – Coury Hospitality, an award-winning hospitality management company based in Dallas, Texas, has expanded its national portfolio with the addition of THE RIVVY, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott in Chicago, and Marriott Tacoma Downtown in Tacoma, Washington. Selected by ACORE Capital to manage both properties, Coury will oversee hotel operations, guest experience, food and beverage, events, sales and marketing, revenue strategy and team development. 

The appointments draw on Coury’s four decades of hotel ownership and operating experience, as well as its proven track record managing branded and independent properties. Through a hands-on, ownership-minded approach, the company will work with ACORE Capital and the on-property teams to strengthen each hotel’s position within its respective market and drive long-term performance.

Located in Chicago’s River North neighborhood, THE RIVVY recently completed its transformation from the former Hotel 55 into a 297-room boutique hotel inspired by the city’s culture, creativity and spirit of discovery. The property features 8,187 square feet of meeting and event space across eight rooms, along with Lure Fishbar, its acclaimed signature seafood restaurant. Coury will focus on lifestyle-driven operations and experiential programming that position The Rivvy as a compelling home base for visitors and a vibrant destination for Chicago locals. 

Marriott Tacoma Downtown is a 304-room, full-service hotel located in the heart of downtown Tacoma with direct access to the Greater Tacoma Convention Center. The property offers 25,000 square feet of customizable meeting space, The Greatroom restaurant and bar, an M Club lounge and a rooftop pool and sun deck overlooking downtown, the Tacoma waterfront and Mount Rainier. Coury will leverage its extensive Marriott experience to enhance hotel operations, food and beverage and the overall guest journey.
