Sandra Klempay has been appointed as Director of Rooms at Blue Harbor Resort & Conference Center
Blue Harbor Resort & Conference Center is happy to announce Sandra Klempay as Director of Rooms. Klempay will lead Blue Harbor's Rooms Division, work to increase the Resort's level of service and serve as part of the Executive Team within the resort.
Klempay comes to Blue Harbor with vast knowledge from her work as an Independent Consultant for Carver Hotel Group and a self-employed Rooms Division Task Force Consultant. In her consulting tenure, Klempay performed Director of Housekeeping duties at numerous 4, 4.5 and 5 star properties, mentored Housekeeping and Rooms Division professionals and restructured property's Housekeeping Departments by streamlining scheduling and creating training processes.
Klempay's experience consists of 20 years of hospitality consulting and management. Throughout her career, Klempay served at Cleveland Marriott East in Warrensville Heights, OH, The Westin Jackson in Jackson, MS, The Ranch at Rock Creek in Philipsburg, MT, Embassy Suites by Hilton San Luis Obispo in San Luis Obispo, CA, Royal Sonesta Boston in Cambridge, MA, Sheraton West Des Moines Hotel in Des Moines, IA, Sugar Bay Resort and Spa in St. Thomas, USVI, The Westin Southfield Detroit in Southfield, MI, Wyndham International Corporate and Royal Caribbean Cruises LTD.
Prior to her work in consulting, Klempay was hired to open AmeriHost Inn and Country Inn and Suites by Radisson in Dundee, MI as the Director of Housekeeping.
Klempay holds previous experience with Blue Harbor Resort & Conference Center as a Task Force Rooms Division Consultant in early 2018. In her previous work at Blue Harbor, Klempay mentored the Rooms Division management staff, increased staff productivity levels and developed Blue Harbor's 123s of Housekeeping.
