Laura Mutterperl has been promoted to Chief Legal Officer at Dream Hotel Group
Renowned hotel brand and management company Dream Hotel Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Laura Mutterperl to the newly created position of Chief Legal Officer. Honored by Hotel Management magazine as one of 2019's Influential Women in Hospitality, Mutterperl has more than 15 years of experience in driving hotel business and legal strategy. Mutterperl joined Dream Hotel Group in 2017 as Executive Vice President and General Counsel and has played a key role in advancing the company's growth and success, which includes drafting more than 40 new hotel management agreements, the opening of four new hotels in the United States and the anticipated openings of three new locations in Doha, Qatar, Belgium and The Catskills, NY in 2022.
As Chief Legal Officer, Mutterperl maintains executive oversight of all legal issues for Dream Hotel Group and its growing portfolio of brands, including its Dream Hotels, Unscripted Hotels, The Chatwal and new By Dream Hotel Group collection. She will continue to work closely with senior leadership on driving new development deals, improving hotel operations, entering international markets and maximizing efficiencies and profitability for all proudly independent Dream Hotel Group properties worldwide.
Mutterperl joined Dream Hotel Group from Starwood Hotels and Resorts where she worked for several years in various positions after a stint in the corporate department of legal powerhouse Kirkland & Ellis.
Mutterperl earned her JD from Harvard Law School after graduating from Harvard College with honors. She is based in New York and works out of Dream Hotel Group's executive office.
