Tarun Seth has been appointed as General Manager at Andaz Capital Gate, Abu Dhabi, by Hyatt
Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi, a Hyatt hotel, has announced the appointment of Tarun Seth as General Manager, bringing more than two decades of luxury hospitality experience to the landmark property in the UAE capital.
The appointment marks the latest chapter in a career spanning some of India’s leading luxury hotels. Tarun has held senior leadership positions with Hyatt, alongside earlier experience with Oberoi Hotels & Resorts and Taj Hotels, building expertise across hotel operations, pre-openings, strategic repositioning, food and beverage, and commercial growth.
In his new role, Tarun will oversee all aspects of operations at Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi, with a focus on strengthening commercial performance, developing talent and creating more personalised, culturally connected guest experiences. He will also lead the hotel through its next phase of growth, building on its distinctive identity as a design-led lifestyle destination shaped by the culture and character of Abu Dhabi.
Seth joins Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi from Grand Hyatt Gurgaon, playing a key role in leading Grand Hyatt Gurgaon from its pre-opening phase and establishing the hotel as a prominent luxury destination within Delhi NCR. Under his leadership, the hotel became one of Hyatt’s leading properties in Southwest Asia for guest satisfaction, while achieving strong commercial and operational performance and receiving national recognition and multiple industry accolades. Seth was also named Luxury General Manager of the Year by Hospitality Horizon and recognised as one of India’s Top 5 Luxury Hotel General Managers.
With his combination of operational expertise, luxury hospitality experience, and people-focused leadership, Seth will lead Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi as the hotel continues to strengthen its position within Abu Dhabi’s evolving hospitality landscape.
