Nikki Berry has been appointed as Hotel Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, Miami

The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, Miami announces the appointment of Nikki Berry as Hotel Manager for the 18-story luxury resort. A passionate leader with more than a decade of knowledge and expertise in luxury hotels, Nikki will oversee all facets of the resort, including hotel operations, property amenities and guest services. Nikki joins The Ritz-Carton from the 1 Hotel South Beach where she was Director of Rooms. In her role, Nikki oversaw eight operational departments and led her teams and the hotel to unparalleled results in guest engagement, increasing scores ten points year over year. Prior to her role at the 1 Hotel South Beach, she served as the Assistant Rooms Executive and Director of Housekeeping for The Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne (2012-2016). During her tenure, she was also selected to serve on the property opening teams for: The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba; The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage; The Ritz-Carlton, Bal Harbour, Miami; as well as The New York EDITION. Nikki graduated Cum Laude earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management with a dual minor in Spanish and Business from Auburn University. Prior to her position with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C., Nikki first began her career in hospitality in 2005 with the Capella Hotel Group at The Hotel at Auburn University where she served in banquets, before going on to various Rooms Operations positions within the company. She later transitioned into her first senior-level management role at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort in Destin, FL. where she served as Director of Front Office and Director of Housekeeping.

Marco Selva has been appointed as General Manager at St. Regis Bal Harbour

Marco comes to St. Regis Hotels & Resorts from the Gencom Group, one of the nation’s leading investment/development firms specializing in luxury hospitality and residential real estate, where he acted as the Executive Vice President. While at Gencom Group, Marco oversaw the company’s luxury portfolio, which included Ritz-Carlton residential/resort destinations in Philadelphia, Key Biscayne, Florida, Kapalua, Hawaii, and Rancho Mirage in California, among others. Prior to his position with Gencom, Marco worked with the Ritz Carlton hotel company, and most recently acted as an Area Vice President for the brand, overseeing operations and development for over 20 properties in the Southeastern U.S., Caribbean and Latin America, where he succeeded in leading the hotels to an annual revenue of over $1 billion.

Elizabeth Dexter has been appointed as National Sales Manager at the Regent Bal Harbour

Dexter comes to The Regent Bal Harbour following three years as Director of International Sales of Tropical Incentives, DMC, a destination management outfit focused on Mexico. Dexter ran the US-based office of Tropical Incentives in Hollywood, Florida. While there, she was pivotal in creating an effective team of U.S. and Mexico-based Sales Representatives and enhancing the company’s profile by initiating and implementing green and socially responsible policies and practices. Previously, Dexter was Director of Group Sales at Fiesta Americana Hotel, a Five Diamond property in Cancun, Mexico from 2004-2006. Before that she built an impressive record of achievement and advancement as Director of Sales at three Wyndham Hotel properties in Jamaica and Florida, including Wyndham Rose Hall (2002-2004), Wyndham Grand Bay Hotel (2000-2002) and Wyndham Miami Biscayne Bay (1998-2000). Her big hospitality break came as Director of Sales at Renaissance Jaragua Hotel in the Dominican Republic in 1994. A native of New York, Dexter earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management at Florida International University in Miami. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
