Mathieu started his hotelier career in Paris, France following the academicals at the UTEC institute with some prestigious teachers such as the former Maitre d of the French president palace l’Elysee. Afterwards, his travel has brought him to Sydney Australia before returned him to Paris. Where he worked in the world famous 3 Michelin stars ‘Alain Ducasse restaurant’ at the Plaza Athenee Hotel, where his mentor, Denis Courtiade, was the Restaurant Director.

After graduating with a Master Degree in Business Administration from University Utara Malaysia, she began her hospitality career with a boutique hotel before pursuing her career working for international hotel chains. Her career with Marriott International started in 2010, where she was the Assistant Human Resources Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Patong Beach and continued her journey with other international hotel chains before re-joining Marriott International as the Director of Human Resources at Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa. Most recently, she was appointed as the Director of Human Resources for the successful opening of Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Nai Yang Beach. Marisa’s role was crucial as she was tasked to strategize Human Resources’ standards of operating procedures, pre-opening team trainings and embodied Marriott cultures and core values to all associates of the hotel. Pamela Ong has been appointed as Director of Sales and Marketing at Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit and Marriott Executive Apartments Sukhumvit Thonglor

Miss Pamela Ong was recently appointed as the new Director of Sales and Marketing of Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit and Marriott Executive Apartments Sukhumvit Thonglor, overseeing hotel’s sales and marketing efforts in this dynamic cosmopolitan. A veteran hotelier from some of the most prestigious Marriott establishments, Pamela brings with her 18 years of vast expertise in the sales and marketing field, starting from Shangri-La Penang, Malaysia in 1999 to Miri Marriott Resort & Spa and most recently, The Stones – Legian Bali, Marriott’s first Autograph Collection Hotel in Asia Pacific region since 2013. Some of her achievements with The Stones Autograph Collection Hotel include the “Most Improved Hotel RevPar Index for Quarter 1, 2014” and “Most Improved Hotel RevPar Index for Quarter 2, 2015”. Michael Schlueter has been appointed as General Manager at Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers

Michael has over 30 years of international hospitality management experience having worked in key hotels throughout Europe and Asia. He started his career with Starwood in 1987 at the Sheraton Frankfurt Hotel, Germany, with 1,026 rooms and has since taken leadership roles in Le Meridien, Westin and St Regis properties. With his background in Room Operations, his career has taken him through different hotels in Germany and countries including Poland, Russia and Turkey. Prior to joining the Royal Orchid Sheraton in Bangkok, Thailand, he was Managing Director of The Westin Langkawi Resort & Spa and St. Regis Langkawi as well as the Langkawi International Convention Center (LICC), on the Island of Langkawi in Malaysia.

Nicolas joins the hotel with over 22 years of hospitality experience and extensive knowledge of the luxury market. Nicolas comes to Bangkok from Washington D.C. where he supported the 14 Marriott hotels of Paris as US based – Multi-properties Director of Sales. Prior to the US experience, he served 5 years as the Market Director of Sales in Paris and 2 years as Dual Property Director of Sales and Marketing for 2 Courtyard hotels in Paris. Other experiences include Starwood Hotels and Hilton Hotels in Paris, Preferred Hotel Group in Milan or The Waldorf Towers in New York City.

Paul Stevens has been appointed as CEO at Accor Plus

Paul Stevens has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Accor Plus, AccorHotels’ travel, dining and lifestyle program. Paul joined AccorHotels in Australia in 1997, holding several General Manager positions before leaving the group in 2004 to pursue other interests in the residential property market.In 2005, he rejoined the group as opening General Manager of Sofitel Fiji before moving to Bangkok in 2007 to lead the Hotel Operations for the group’s Thailand hotels. From 2014, Paul assumed his most recent role of Vice President Operations for the Midscale & Economy brands, Upper Southeast Asia.
