Dena Roady has been appointed as General Manager at Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa

Roady has a long history with Hyatt, which spans 17 years and various roles in 10 North America full service properties. Most recently, Roady was general manager, Hyatt Market Street, The Woodlands, near Houston, Texas. Prior to her two-year role as general manager, Roady was executive assistant manager at Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona from 2010-2012. Roady also served the same function for Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio, TX from 2008-2010 and Hyatt Regency Irvine, Irvine CA from 2006-2008.

Armel Santens has been appointed as General Manager at Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort

Meridian hotels in Paris and then Four Seasons in Ontario and the Ritz Carlton in Dallas. In 1983, he became general manager with Metro Hotels at Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center. From 1989 to 2001, he held key management positions with Quorum Hotels and Resorts, Sheraton and Millennium Biltmore before taking over as managing director of the Brown Palace Hotel and Complex in Denver and The BelAge in West Hollywood, California.

Richard Preston has been appointed as Executive Chef at Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa

Executive Chef Preston will be responsible for the resort’s overall culinary offerings, overseeing all dining outlets: SHOR American Seafood Grill, featuring a dramatic show kitchen and panoramic Gulf views; Swim, a casual poolside eatery with a Pan-Latino fusion menu; Skimmers, a grab-and-go coffee station by day and lively lobby bar by night; and banquet as well as in-room dining.

Sheryl Rodgers has been appointed as Director of Sales at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Clearwater-Bayside

A hospitality professional with more than 20 years of sales and management experience, Ms. Rodgers joined Fairfield Inn & Suites Clearwater from the Largo Mid-Pinellas Chamber of Commerce, where she served as the director of membership. In this role, Sheryl managed events and community relations on behalf of the chamber’s 650 members. She previously held the same position for the Clearwater Chamber of Commerce for 850 members.
