The Leela Palaces Hotels and Resorts has appointed Ashish Kumar Rai as the General Manager of The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Delhi. He began his career with The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts as a Management Trainee and thereafter served as General Manager at various award winning and iconic hotels such as The Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace Jodhpur, The Leela Mumbai and The Westin Mumbai Garden City. His last assignment was with SUJÁN group as Vice President.

Aditya Singh has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at Kempinski Ambience Hotel Delhi

With a wealth of knowledge of the Indian hospitality sector spread over 17 years, Aditya is a seasoned expert in various aspects of sales and marketing including pricing strategies, property reactive sales, proactive sales accounts and segment sales, local and social catering sales, and destination sales. He is also adept at implementing brand initiatives, developing value-based customer relationships, steering campaigns, promotions and collateral development, and leading the overall marketing communications strategy. Prior to his current portfolio, Aditya was the Director of Sales & Marketing at JW Marriott Chandigarh where he led the sales and marketing team since the pre-opening to ensure a successful launch. The strategies surpassed revenue goals ensuring guest and employee satisfaction through multiple initiatives. For over a decade, Aditya was with Hyatt Regency New Delhi, where in his last role as the Director of Sales, he helped align corporate marketing strategies with the hotel’s vision and strengths, introduced technology-led strategic marketing processes to help aide sound decisions based on sales account analysis.

Manish Nambiar has been appointed as Hotel Manager at Kempinski Ambience Hotel Delhi

Europe’s oldest luxury hotel group, Kempinski Hotels, brings Manish Nambiar as Hotel Manager for its upcoming luxury property, Kempinski Ambience Hotel Delhi, to replicate the success he delivered in Africa, Asia and Middle East. Fluent in six languages including French and Arabic, Manish brings with him over 16 years of hospitality experience with a unique combination of conceptual and culinary knowledge, besides strong operations management, sales, product marketing, business development, and project management skills. In his new role, Manish will be responsible for directing the pre-opening activities relating to finance, marketing and guest services at the upcoming Kempinski Ambience Hotel Delhi, and will be conceptualizing restaurant themes and designs, developing vendors, and Operating Supplies and Equipment (OS&E) identification and procurement for the first Kempinski’s hotel in India.
