Bob W to launch in fifth German city - Dortmund

Bob W, the tech-powered hospitality provider, has exchanged contracts with Aroundtown, one of Europe's leading listed real estate groups, to launch a 52-unit serviced apartment offer in a former post office building in Dortmund, Germany.The operator has signed a long term lease for 3,300 sq m at the Alte Post building, a former post office adjacent to Dortmund's main railway station. The refurbished, mixed-use asset also hosts over 10,000 sq m of high-quality office space, as well as retail and commercial facilities.

Largest hotel in the city opens in the historic Dortberghaus

Petra Bantle has been appointed as General Manager at IntercityHotel Dortmund

New management at IntercityHotel: Petra Bantle, will move to the IntercityHotel Dortmund in order to guide the hotel through its pre-opening phase and to take on the role of General Manager. Petra Bantle has her own prior experience with the Deutsche Hospitality brand portfolio. After vocational education and training in the occupation of hotel specialist at the Steigenberger Hotel Freudenstadt, Ms. Bantle held a range of different positions at the Steigenberger Hotel Bad Homburg, the Steigenberger Hotel Dortmund, the Steigenberger Inselhotel Konstanz and the IntercityHotel Ulm before being named Director of the IntercityHotel Kassel in 2014.

Peach Property Group and NOVUM Hotel Group conclude 20-year lease agreement: former Hoesch headquarters in Dortmund will be transformed into a 4-star hotel with 210 rooms

Peach Property Group, an investor specialising in portfolio management in Germany with a focus on residential property and selected development projects, has achieved further progress in transforming the former Hoesch headquarters in Dortmund. Planning permission to convert the historic building was obtained last year, and Peach has now concluded a 20-year lease agreement with Hamburg-based NOVUM Hotel Group, which is enjoying dynamic growth. The NOVUM Hotel Group will start operating the hotel with 210 rooms and space of around 15,500 m2 (gross floor space) under the "NOVUM Select" brand in spring 2019. The NOVUM Hotel Group currently holds 84 hotels in Germany and other European countries. The hotel group already operates a "NOVUM Hotel Unique" and a "NOVUM Hotel Excelsior" in Dortmund, and is thus well acquainted with the local market.
