Jimmy Kam has been appointed as General Manager at Swissôtel Foshan

Jimmy Kam joins Swissôtel Foshan as general manager. Kam brings over 20 years of hospitality experience to this position, most recently joining the property from Wanda Vista Dongguan & Wanda Realm Guangzhou Zengcheng as director of sales & marketing. Over the span of his career, Kam has held progressive positions at leading hospitality brands throughout China.

Nigel Fisher has been appointed as General Manager at Marco Polo Lingnan Tiandi Foshan

Nigel is an experienced hotelier with a passion for old style hospitality, a true believer in premium class service delivery based on solid training, development and real motivation of employees. He brings with him years of experience in food & beverage and hotel operations, having worked with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Four Seasons Sydney and Tanjung Rhu Resort Malaysia. Prior to the appointment of this position, he was General Manager of the Marco Polo Davao, Philippines.

Grace Hui has been appointed as Director of Sales & Marketing at Marco Polo Lingnan Tiandi Foshan

Grace has extensive experience in Sales & Marketing having worked with Intercontinental Hotel Group and Howard Johnson International in China; Royal Plaza Hotel, Lanson Place Boutique Hotel and Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel in Hong Kong. Prior to joining Marco Polo Hotels, she was with the Holiday Inn Lido Beijing. In her new position, she works closely with the corporate and hotel team in overseeing and managing the sales & marketing, reservation, revenue and banquet departments of the soon to open hotel in Foshan.

Jackson Wong has been appointed as General Manager at Swissôtel Foshan

Taking over the reigns from Torsten at Swissôtel Foshan will be Jackson Wong who comes to the property from The Garden Hotel, Guangzhou where he held the position of Assistant General Manager. Prior to this, he was General Manager Sales & Marketing at LNH Hospitality in Guangzhou. A Canadian national, Jackson has worked in several countries including Hong Kong, Canada, Australia and China. He began his career in 1982 at Holiday Inn Golden Mile, Hong Kong and has since, accumulated a wealth of experience in hospitality as well as sales and marketing. 20 years of his 28-year career have been in executive positions in five star deluxe properties. His recent tenures have been senior management positions with Mirage Hotel in Urumqi, Xinjiang, the Intercontinental in Shenyang and Beijing Marriot Hotel West. The 234-room Swissôtel Foshan is one of four Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts’ properties in China. It joins Swissôtel Beijing Hong Kong Macau Centre which was the Swiss hospitality pioneer’s first property in China, Swissôtel Kunshan and Swissôtel Grand Shanghai, which also opened in 2008.
